You need more than talk

You need a place to reconnect.

About

On the outside, you look like you have it together.

On the inside, something has shifted. Maybe it's burnout. Maybe depression.

Maybe something quieter—a loss of connection with your work, with others, with yourself.

The strategies that worked before aren't working now.

You've done therapy.

You've talked it through.

But talking about it isn't the same as moving through it. You're ready for something different.

Someone who understands the layers of what's happening—the nervous system, the body, the patterns that keep repeating.

You need more than talk. You need a place to reconnect.

About Me

Hi. I'm Julie Cardoza, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), Certified EMDR Therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant (US & Canada).

I've been working in the field of mental health for over 25 years.

I'm not about talk therapy. My work is Somatic EMDRmeeting you where you are and allowing change to emerge.

It's body-based, depth-oriented, and intentionally paced.

It honors the profound connection between mind and body, recognizing that healing happens when we address both in relationship.

My Approach

My approach honors the profound connection between mind and body, recognizing that healing happens when we address both.

I draw from Neuroscience, Somatic Therapy, Polyvagal-Informed Practices (Nervous System), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to create an integrative and  comprehensive framework for emotional well-being. My approach incorporates trauma-informed mindfulness, and breathwork practices from my yoga and somatic practices training and background. I also offer animal-assisted therapy, which can be particularly effective for nervous system regulation and building trust in the therapeutic relationship. I help move beyond talk therapy to experience real, lasting change.
